Internship

Internships and Supervision in Turkey

NIHA is aware of the significance of internships for both the personal and the professional development of students. This is valid for Dutch students who do not have any relation with Turkey as well as for Dutch students whose family originates from Turkey.

The location of appropriate internships, the selection and preparation of students and the caretaking of students take a great deal of time and manpower. Consequently it is self-evident that the free services of NIHA need to be limited to general advices relating to possible internship addresses (for this purpose NIHA will create a special database) and to marginal support of scholars who probably want to make use of one of the NIHA guestrooms.

To be able to offer a full package of services in the field of internships, NIHA hopes to sign such agreements with various Dutch Institutions for Higher Education, that in the near future a separate internships-department will arise within NIHA.

Our Internship Coordinators Melek Yücel and Arzu Yıldız are always trying to find suitable internship places for students from Holland.

Internships at NIHA

NIHA is planning to place scholars from The Netherlands in its own organization as well on a regular base. If you are interested in an internship at NIHA, we kindly invite you to contact Aslı Kaymak . Send us enclosed your curriculum vitae and state your field of interest as well as in which period you are available. In mutual talks we can discuss the possibilities to get to a formulation of a concrete internship-task, which affiliates both the needs of NIHA and your interest and fulfils the demands which are made by the institution where you are studying.

Apart from this, NIHA will offer regularly concrete internships within its own organization. In those cases we will announce these internships here.
