Cooperation with the Ankara Netherlands Alumni Association (NAATR)
In order to further strengthen the Study in Holland activities for students from Turkey who plan  to study in The Netherlands, to promote the academic cooperation and discussion between the two countries and to help create a solid basis for the Dutch Alumni in Turkey, NIHA offered the Netherlands Alumni Association of Turkey an office in the NIHA-building.
Since the official start of the cooperation on 7 December 2008, NIHA and NAATR work closely and regularly organise academic activities and projects, such as seminars, lectures, exhibitions and summer schools.

Cooperation with the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC)
During the NIHA-congres in January 2008 State Secretary Marja van Bijsterveldt and NIHA-staff member Funda Demir strengthened the cooperation already existing between NUFFIC and NIHA with revealing the new ‘ Study in Holland’ – logo. Funda will, both in Ankara and Istanbul, staff a Study in Holland Desk and take part in education fairs. This in order to improve the generic promotion of the Dutch higher education by providing information to interested students and recruite talented students. In the future NIHA toghether with NUFFIC aims to carry out a market survey and work more closely toghether on common targets in Turkey. Focus areas thereby are: Further improvement of the information to Turkish students (particularly also by means of NIHA-website) and the set-up and implementation of a trainging for local recruitment agents with which the Dutch higher education at this moment works.
